Dr. Grant

Veterinarian

Dr. Craig Grant grew up in the Mississippi Delta and is the son of a veterinarian. He attended Mississippi State University for undergraduate and veterinary school. Upon graduation from veterinary school in 1998, Dr. Grant moved to the Memphis, Tennessee area where he practiced for over 26 years, during which time he was an owner of a five-doctor practice. After selling his practice in the spring of 2024, he began thinking about his next move. When the opportunity to join Paris Mountain Animal Hospital and to move to the Greenville area presented itself, he knew he had found his new home.

Dr. Grant and Kristin, his wife of over 30 years, are thrilled to be in the Greenville area and live in Travelers Rest. Their daughter and son-in-law live in Rochester, MN with their grand dog Cashew. Dr. Grant and Kristin love their geriatric Sheltie Daisy, who they are convinced is the best dog they will ever have, and adore their middle-aged GoldenDoodle Dolly, who is a hot mess but loves them fiercely.

Dr. Grant’s practice interests are preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery for canine and feline patients. He is excited to build relationships with patients and to foster partnerships with their owners to offer the best medical care possible at Paris Mountain.

Cassandra

Practice Manager

Cassandra knew one way, or another her life would always be filled with furry critters. She adored animals as a child and wasalways bringing a new animal home because she felt every creature deserved love and a home. She was born in Harrisburg, PA but spent all her childhood and early adult years in Myrtle Beach, SC. Cassandra spent several years in management positions feeling unfulfilled in her work life.

In 2016 that all changed when she took a leap of faith on a new career path in veterinary medicine. She started as a receptionist, became a veterinary assistant, and then a manager. A passion for quality medical care and customer service has always shined throughout her work. Cassandra and her husband, Christopher, moved to Greenville in 2019 as they looked to move away from the tourist atmosphere and start their life together. Cassandra loves a rainy day cuddled up on the couch with a good book or binge watching something on Netflix.

You will always find at least one of her seven animals snuggling up with her. Cassandra loves all fur babies, but felines will always hold a special place in her heart. She has four cats and three dogs. Cassandra wakes up every day knowing that she is following her passion and would not want to be doing anything else in the world than working with animals. She is beyond excited to meet all of the new patients and families at Paris Mountain Animal Hospital.

Abigail

Veterinary Assistant

Abigail is a born and raised South Carolina native, growing up in Gaffney on the outskirts of town. Seven years ago she couldn’t decide if she wanted to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine or work with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources as a Game Warden. She started looking for a hospital that would hire her and quickly landed her first job in a mixed animal veterinary practice and the rest is history. She fell in love with the world of veterinary medicine and quickly developed a passion for dentistry, client education and surgery. She has a deep love for conservatory work with wildlife animals and enjoys rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing the critters that needed a little extra help along the way.

Outside of the hospital, Abigail loves to stay busy and enjoys hiking, concerts, fishing, gardening and spending time with her two retrievers, Renna and Poseidon. Abigail loves veterinary medicine because she feels as though you can love on people by loving their pets and she is so excited to meet and build a rapport with the clientele of PMAH!
